how to dub a chicken?

ive been reading up about some rules but it is hard for me to find. is it true the is a cock is a certain age then you dont have to dub? because if so then ill definitely breed for that age i really dont want to dub. i might even try entering a bird and hope the 4h juge isnt a game expert or he decides just not to disqualify me.

Contact your county extension office and ask them.... be sure to ask about the county and state level as in many places things are much more lax at the county level but if you go on to state competition you could find yourself running afoul of the regs.

well i do know each member is allowed two cages(trios). worst comes to worst it would just be my other cage.

i will definitely talk to my leader about county/province rule.

ps gona be my first year in poulty!
