How to edit a signature?

Hi Guys!

Soooo, I'm new here and so happy to be a part!! I've been noticing as I've been wandering through the forums that some people have a list at the bottom of their posts that say what breeds they own, etc. I am assuming this is the signature. However, when I click the "edit my signature" link when I hover over my username at the top right there, it says I do not have permission. Any input on this would be appreciated!!

Welcome to our forum!

There are several things like this that are limited for brand new members, as part of our spam reducing program. Just post a while and you will find that your permission arrives! It doesn't take a lot of posts (I don't actually know how many.)

Ah, thank you very much. That makes sense. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a setting option, etc. I'll keep posting!
