how to edit signature???

I just opened another tab to BYC, and clicked on Profile, up in the top brown bar, under the ad at the top. I then wrote down all the sections I see, in the maroon (or brown?) colored letters:


Nic&Chickies (Your name here, I hope, when you do it)

Your Community Profile
Your Recent Activity (my thread subscriptions are here)
Your Photos
-->Your Forum Signature<--
Your lists (which I haven't created, so mine's empty)
another ad
brown section of recent discussions,reviews,and articles

Are you saying that yours skips from Photos, right down to Lists? If it really is missing, and I don't think it's because you're a New Egg (someone correct me if I'm wrong), then you'll have to get the system "bug-fixers" on this! [um, Lothriel? Can you do that?]

Hmmmmmm........... wonder what it takes to get the system to know me and consider me trust worthy enough to have personal siggy ????????

The system has some limits on new member's ability to have a signature, so if you don't see the edit signature feature in your profile, it might be because the system doesn't know you. I'm not 100% sure what the requirements are, but as you participate more, the system will learn to trust more.

It's happened to other people before too, even ones with more posts. Usually it reappears in its own time, or when the staff take a look at it.

I have the same issue. I am a recent member too, so maybe we have to wait for our probation period to be over?

Thats the conclusion I have come too, but the upside is I learned to navigate this site and found all of my profile stuff and know how to use it now ( except Signature ) I don't think there was a link or button I did not click on and look at from top to bottom...... I went from being a New Egg today to Just Hatched sooooo surely the system will accept me soon and find me trustworthy enough for a Signature allowance
