I just got 3 easter eggers that are about 2 months old. I have 5 golden comets that are about a year old. Once I stop separating them, how do I make sure that the chicks eat their starter and not the layer feed and the hens eat the layer and not the starter?

Just feed everyone a starter/grower and offer oyster shells on the side in a bowl.

Purina makes a feed called Flock Raiser, just supply oyster she'll on the side

If you want to go the "all flock" route you could also go with,
    Buckeye Big 4
    Kent Feed "Multi-Flock"

I myself prefer Buckeye Big 4 over Kent and Purina just because I feel that Buckeye Nutrition is a better Co. than the other two and Buckeye still uses Animal Protein in there poultry feed.
