How to find a house to rent that will allow backyard chickens. HELP!

I am hoping to move to a city in the very near future.

Does anyone have any advice how to find a house that would allow me to bring my 3 baby girls? Or how to convince someone

There is no way I can leave them behind.

I would suggest you first limit your search to those areas that do allow chickens, so that you are not asking the homeowner to break the law by allowing you to have chickens. Then if you ask and the homeowner will not agree, you may want to offer to post a security deposit that would allow him/her to restore any lawn damage that your chickens may cause after you have moved out. I can't think of any other objection the homeowner may have.
