How to get blue EE eggs

Is there anyway you can be sure your EE will lay blue eggs such as knowing the parents or anything like that?
I have one who lays green eggs and would love to have a blue layer as well. Somewhere I read that if they are hatched from blue eggs they will lay blue eggs. Any truth to this?

If they hatch and were fertilized by a rooster that hatched from a blue egg, then you an be pretty sure you will get blue egg laying offspring.
