How to get rid of fox?

You know what else you can do just for a little extra . I put a rag with some Gillette Fusion shaving gel on a pole in my yard next to my peach tree. It still smell after it gets rained on a few time.I did this to keep the deer away. Last year they pruned my peach tree to almost nothing. Any way I got to thinking I have not seen or heard the family of fox that had a den in the woods next to my house in a while.Maybe the gel had something to do with it. I have my girls running around all day I let them out at 6 am and they are back in by 7pm. I have yet to loose one.

We have an electric poultry fence and Kube, but I cannot seem to get it to read above the 2000 light on the meter.

Please pardon my ignorance, but what is "KUBE". Not that I am trying to be rude, but please tell me it isn't a fence charger. Fence chargers, if they are named, should have names like Ole Sparky or Thor's Mighty Lightning. A fence charger, if this is the case, named Kube; gives the impression that it wants to sit down and have a nice Latte and ask the Critter in question to stay away from my chickens. Personally I want a charger that if a raccoon sniffs the wire, it will grab it by its snout, pull its ringed tail through its mouth; and hurl it across the yard. I want that coon to run home and say " Mama, pack your stuff we are moving NOW !! Then stop by every hollow tree on the way out of the county just to warn everyone that chicken is off the menu. Ok, I'll shut up now. Sorry it just stuck me as too funny.

If the one you have is working, then leave it be. Just seems like it is designed to keep fairly tame animals confined, not deter hungry ones.

I did read on the web site you posted that if the voltage was low, to check the Kube without the fence. Try that make sure it is suppling the proper power. Normally if the fence isn't powered right, there is a short to ground somewhere, check that too.
