I found a wonderful Amish lady that sells fresh cows milk. I have bought 3 gallons at different times. The milk is amazing so rich and creamy. The problem is I am the only one who will drink it. My family will have no part of it cause it didnt come from the store. When we first started chickens I thought I would have major problems with DH eating the eggs but finally got him to try and now he never wants store eggs, but the milk he wont even try. I grew up drinking fresh milk not all the time as we didnt live on a farm but family would occisionally bring us fresh milk. I always loved it and wanted my family to taste fresh from the cow milk. Any ideas how to get these hard headed people to at least try it? Dont tell me to just have that milk in the house and nothing else cause then they wont drink milk at all.

Go to the store and buy your normal milk or if you already have an empty or close to empty jug then save it. Wipe the experation date off of it and put the milk you are getting inside of it and take it home for your family. Dont say a word and just let them think it is what you normally buy for them and see if they notice.

Call them chicken.

Trick them by using a store milk carton or jug......MA-HAHAHAH! (That was my evil laugh.)

You could make it chocolate milk for the kids...Put it in pudding...Use it in recipes.....if all else fails.

I do that lol!

Mainly just for storying. I let the fat rise in the jars, skim it and make butter and then funnel the milk into the jugs.

I have the opposite problem. When I get dairy milk it goes to quick, my kids love it. 2 gallons is gone in like 3 days. Store bought lasts a week/gallon!

ok, I gotta say ewwww. coz I hate fresh cows milk. Had it so many times at my aunts and uncles and just for some reason can't stomach it. Just too thick for me to drink by the glass. Now for cooking??? Can't get enough of it.

And there is no tricking someone by putting it in an old milk jug either. I mean, you kind of notice when you have to shake up the milk in the morning lol
