I hatched out some turkeys this year and i have a messed up one and was wondering how i could dispose of it. I had already done one but it was already almost done and a qucik chop did it in. This chick is running around and i don't know how to chop it without chopping my hand.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but if you need to cull the bird...there are a few ways to safely do it.
1. Snap the neck (there are a few different ways to do this)
2. Hang bird by feet if you can and slit jugular
3. Have someone help you by holding the birds feet (pull tight), and you hold head (strech to keep the bird still).
This will give you more distance to not hurt yourself.

How old are these birds?

I held the chick firmly in my left hand, and with the right, ran my fingers over her neck to calm her, speaking to her all the while so she would be somewhat calm. I placed my thumb and forefingers of my right hand around her neck and gave a swift but gentle tug, and heard a pop, and dislocated her neck, killing her instantly. For me, this was the quickest most humane way I could to help her cross over.

She was approx 10 weeks old at the time.

I have had to do other chicks since then, and have done them all the same. They pass on quickly, and don't seem to suffer at all. It seems instant from what I have seen, and having talked to my vet <who also owns chickens> he says it is very very fast and painless.

I'd just use a pair of very very sharp shears and cut the head off. I'm too scared I won't break their necks on the first try...

umm... i have heard of gassing them.... but im not too sure how to do that. What is wrong with the chick... I didn't think it was possible to "mess up" a chicken.

You can use an ether based starting fluid (for cars). Spray a little on a rag and place it inside a container with the chick and close the lid. They go fast and painlessly. Make sure you do it in a well ventilated are or you'll breathe it in yourself.
