I'm new to hatching duck eggs so any info would be great. I have hatched 100s of chicken eggs but I have read you hatching ducks different.

I have read to cool them and spray them with water. I don't know when to start this because I have read different times. If this is true please let me know when to start. I want all the info I can get before I start to hatch. Temperature and humidity is something else I need to know. Thanks!

What kind of incubator do you have?. I too live in a moist climate and I think that keeps my hatch rate down. I love doing this and you get the best ducks. I usually talk to them in the egg so they recognize me once they get out. Enjoy your adventure.

In addition to the thread that @RunnerDuckMama posted, may I suggest that you read these articles by @WVduckchick and @Pyxis?
