How to identify an egg-eating chicken?

P.S. it is imperitive, if an egg gets broken, to clean up the nesting box completely, not even shell fragments should be left behind... because once the hen gets a taste for it, it is over.

To find the perp. look for hen with yolk on her face! Seriously just place an egg on the ground and watch to see which hens go for it.

Once an egg is broken most hens will be attracted to it. So watch for the ones who actually know how to break it open...

I used nest boxes with a roll down tray so they had no way of getting to the eggs.

I would like to see the roll down tray. I want to build an external nesting boxes though that can be checked from the outside so could I still do the external box to?
