So I have 3 Rirs and 2 BO around 7-8 weeks old. I have 4 Ees still in the Brooder who are around 4 weeks. I want to keep them in the brooder for anoter week or two, but I have no idea on how to go about moving them to the coop?

I am also picking up 2 or 3 chicks from TSC which will be younger. Can I place them in the same brooder or is that a bad idea since the others are way bigger?

Thanks

I would not put new chicks in with older chicks with that much of an age disparity, no. How well feathered are the EE? What are the current high/low temperatures where you are located? Is there electric service available at the coop? What are the dimensions of the coop you are using? Are the oldest group already out in the coop? There are a few different things you could do to accommodate everyone depending on those answers.

Yes my older chicks are already in the coop. Been there a few weeks. There is no electrical at the coop. Its around 12 x 10. Quite large.
The Ees are not well feathered at all. The wing feathers are about it.
The temps with the storm are about highs of 60 and low of 45. If it wasnt for the storms it would be more 75 and 55.
