How to keep birds from gaining weight?

Is there anyway to keep weight off of birds. Our fair supposedly might have a weight limit and my pullets currently weigh from 6-8 lbs and they supposedly can’t weigh more than 10. Lessening food intake? I’ve been doing that but do I need to do it even more.

That's dumb that a fair has a weight limit...what happens when someone shows a Brahma rooster?

They’re meatbirds so that’s why. Normal non meat aren’t weighed.

That’s all good. Yup we show them in 4-H to determine whether they are market quality and then they are sold at the end of the week.
