You can use .5% solution on chickens and I believe up to a 1% solution on the coop material.Permethrin 0.25
I use permethrin liquid and dust on my birds and in my coop.
Yes that's what i use. I mix my own. The product op linked to is 0.25%You can use .5% solution on chickens and I believe up to a 1% solution on the coop material.
Oh thanks they're so coated in 2 days ! They weren't sticky anymore. I leaned into one in house it is awful.the fly traps are great stink but they work great.Make sure it's absolutely 100% impossible for a chicken to contact the fly paper.
I haven't seen it in person, but I've read about the extreme awfulness of the combination.
Yes, that is what I use also. During hot weather they fill up in a week or 2, and I dispose and hang a fresh one. I have 3 hanging in the coop and 3 hanging in the run.I use fly traps here. Even those old fly ribbon things help.
I love this idea! Thanks for sharingThis summer I tried something recommended by ??? on a thread here, and it's working! Those spruce tree shaped vanilla scented auto 'air fresheners', and they have kept almost all the flies out on my coop and roofed run! I have them hung near doors, where the birds can't get to them, and there's still plenty of fresh non-scented air flow in the coop. I can't deal with perfumed air either, so it's important that the birds don't have issues with it.

was going to tell Alexa to add to list but who knows what she would type for a "vanilla car tree scent smelly thing!"
