How to keep my chickens water from freezing

Hey...my Judy was a lone chicken for a few months. She’s so jealous lol. Won’t let the new girls up on my lap. She’s definitely happier with them here. Took some doing but it’s a happy little flock. I had a friend gift me chickens when he heard I was going to get some. 3 Roosters and poor ol’ Judy.
Don’t wanna go through that again!

Gotta b careful with roosters, I’m not sure how the boys I had would have done with females. I couldn’t keep them because of where I live.

i only keep waterers open until snow arrives then thats their water until spring.
