How to keep t posts from twisting?!?!

I've pounded T-posts in for almost a mile of fencing, and I've learned how they should look while going into the ground! At first, it tool a level, standing back, and redoing some. Then, with practice, it's easy!
Get a couple of them straight, and the right height, and then stand next to them and get a feeling for how they should look.
Do wear ear protectors while pounding them in!!!

I wouldn’t think of not using ear protection! :) Thanks!

Yeah I have lots of rocks.
I have lot O rocks too.
I gave up trying to put each post exactly where I wanted.
If it wouldn't go in straight or it twisted. I moved it a couple inches in any direction. Sometimes it worked. If not I tried another spot in opposite direction.
Some went in on first try, others took 5 or 6 tries.
I have since gotten a post pounder. My right arm was sore swinging that sledge hammer.
Have yet to use it.
Don't give up. GC

I have few rocks, which is wonderful. But, after stringing a line to mark the fence line, I pace off ten feet between posts and lay them out. Then, each post goes in along the line, and can be moved a bit in either direction, to avoid rocks, or whatever, in the ground.
I actually counted how many hits it took to place each post in the clay areas: 40+!
Good upper body workout...

That’s nice! I was talking to my grandpa a few weeks ago and he said he bought his property for building a house because there wasn’t a single rock on it. Smart choice!
