We have turkeys that use both of our garden gazebos, benches tables and all, as a washroom. I've been thinking of sprinkling either ground pepper or chilli powder on the floor. Could that be effective?

How high does a fence need to be to keep full sized chickens from jumping it? I would like to let mine free range when I'm at work, because they love it, but am worried they will get into the rest of the yard and ruin my garden/porch and get more interesting to my dogs.

Hot pepper will not bother birds. I use to soak Boss in chili oil for the squirrels.

Does anyone know if chickens are afraid of owls? I thought about getting one of those fake ones and puttingit by the steps of the deck to keep them off....

Im wondering if there is an option that doesnt take up space. if black pepper doesnt work is there another option?
