When you gather 13 eggs!

22 weeks and everyone is laying strong and full sized eggs. These are production reds that Meyers calls Golden Buffs. Nice little hens.

Congrats! I had one start on Friday and another today. My girls are almost 23 weeks, so I'm on my way to 12 eggs.

The reds starting spitting out pullet eggs at 18 weeks and most had moved on to better sized eggs by 20 weeks. Until today, not all 13 had ever laid on the same day. Usually 11 or 12.

Getting all 13 means I do not have to chart them to find a dud. Unless, I never, ever again get 13 a day.
