How to let a broody hen hatch eggs

Ok, nice! You might want to be able to get some back-up chicks if the others don't hatch.
Candle them every week or a little more...

I was going to get day old chicks for her but couldn't find any local

Oh. Not sure where you are, you can get them posted and this does guarantee chicks but the ethics of chick postage is very controversial.

I would let her sit on them as long as she wants mango(my chicken that hatched the eggs)would get up at least one every other day remember to check her for re mites.

We had some BO go broody a couple of years ago and they did just fine all on their own. When we heard chicks peeping, being totally inexperienced, we completely panicked, as the hens were brooding in the nests and we realized the chicks could fall out. So we quickly transferred them, hens, eggs, baby chicks and all, to a safer location. All went well and if I recall correctly, 4 hens hatched out a total of 8 chicks, with two of the hens co-parenting 4 babies. It was a bit nerve-wracking but we got through it!
