How to make a chick roost?

Hi, does anybody know how to make a chick roost? My chicks have started enjoying roosting on the feeder (and my fingers) but when they roost on the feeder they poop in the feeder so that’s probably not the best option. If anyone could post instructions on how to build a (fairly easy) roost, that would be great! Thanks!

Just hot glue a stick (tree branch) on a tripod kinda thing.

I took 2 pieces of wood (scrap pieces of a board, like 1x4s, would work fine) and cut a piece of 1" dowel short enough to easily fit the brooder. 2 screws through the board into the dowel on each side, and you're done.

I just use a small branch, that is shaped the right way.

I screwed a 2x4 to a 1x4.

You could simply just put a stick in there on the bottom of the brooder. If they want to they will get on it. To encourage that put a small block under the feeder to raise it up a little higher then the stick is but just high enough for them to get their beaks into it to eat.
