Thanks everyone!!! And YES!!!!! I LOVE digital!!! I think I took a total of like....ohhh....it is over 100 I know. Years ago I would have been griping "you are wasting my film" and still have no clue for a week or so if they turned out good.

I DO NOT miss those days!!!

I actually considered using our hamsters.

We have several of the little cuties and they are all so sweet natured.

I bet those were just adorable!!!

I am also putting one of the only baby that survived the miserable hatch. She came from an egg that was marked to be a Turken.

Anyway, she was my only baby so I gave her to my mom who had babies just a little older than her.

I've been giving my d'uccles extra cuddles and treats. I'm grooming them for future photo sessions. DH & co have no idea what I'm up to.

So sorry about your bad hatch. Its so very frustrating and heartbreaking when that happens.

Been there too. The best thing is to hatch some more. A good hatch makes up 100% for a bad one.
