I have partridge penedesencas they lay terracotta color eggs.but I was wondering on how to get generations from them that can lay darker eggs? Anyone has done it before?

I see, thank you for your answer . So itll take many generations to get to the desire egg color, adding from other breeders that already lay dark colors with the ones I have.You will need to select the darkest eggs for incubation, keep track of which birds produce them, and keep breeding stock from those darkest eggs each generation. Meanwhile, select healthy breeders, preferably with good egg production, temperaments, longevity, and conformation. Multiple, sometimes conflicting qualities, which is part of the 'fun' of selective breeding.
