Cant see it. I quit facebook and twitter bc I don’t like their business approach. All commerce. No consumer protection and spreading too much false news.

I still use FB for certain things....groups for poultry sales, to see how my nieces and work people are doing.
But I agree FB has issues.

My one remaining use for FB is for “a group where we pretend to be members of the same choir.” Tons of alto jokes (much mockery of sopranos) and rewrites of pieces done to death.

My chickens (and dogs when I've had them in the past) all learn the same hand gesture and words.

I was going to suggest that integration/desensitisation might be easier with a tame jackdaw...

Well, here's a thing, I've got a partly tamed jackdaw. Come to that none of the regulars seem frightened of me.

The problem is as I've seen before, chickens are better at picking out individuals in another species than we are; or maybe we just don't bother in this technological age. I expect what I would get is the chickens saying "that one may be alright, but rest are bad, bad, bad."

Sylph walks up to them and if they don't move she goes to peck them. One might have thought that Glais, seeing the smallest and most junior hen scare off the jackdaws, would think that a strapping lad like himself should have no problems doing the same.

I'll need a five gallon shite bucket if the Red Kite drops in.

Yeah, I still need Whatscrapp to stay connected with my family and many of my friends.
Unfortunately not everyone want to transfer to Signal.
And for my work I need LinkedIn, instagram and facebook. I successfully persuaded my colleagues to quit twitter.

Social tax:

My 2 coops and the netted run in between. With a shite bucket under the laying nests.

My chickens, the pigeons, jays and the magpies all live together is reasonable harmony.
And yesterday I was very pleased with a neighbour cat who probably hunted down and killed a rat.

PS only 1 chicken (Janice) sleeps in the tiny coop with the laying nests. 4 chickens sleep on the other side in the black coop (hard to see on the photo). And 3 chickens sleep in the childrens playhouse.
