3-D printing

Have any of you guys messed with small CNC machines or laser engravers? I am thinking about getting one but am not sure what direction to go or even if I am going to. Just wondering you alls thoughts.
I had a buddy that got into 3D printing way, way before me and most other people.

I checked in on him a handful of years ago and was surprised he wasn't 3D printing anymore, but had moved over to basically doing laser cutting of almost everything that he needed.

I guess everything that he was doing was more like clocks and other geared stuff that he found it was easier, faster, better to laser cut stuff versus 3D print.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like I'm more the opposite... that I would 3D print everything and maybe occasionally use traditional tools on flat stock. I just haven't seen a lot of need for a CNC or laser cutter engraver.

Ugh, this was a hard decision, but I pulled the trigger on the Bambu H2S

It was tricky because, like I said in that thread: The P2S was definitely tempting (almost 1/2 the price and resolves some of the space issues), but it's time I finally had a top-of-the-line printer... especially considering how passionate I've been about this hobby for getting close to 10 years!!!

Thank you!
I raised the temps up a bit and im getting better result. I am also going to build a enclosure for it for better consistency in temperature. I was having some issues on my other printing with warping, so thats where i figured it was temps. Now its not warping, and ive fixed the bit of over extrusion. So far the prints are turning out well and they dont take 9 hours like my other printer does.

Please let me know how it seems after a month or two. I really would like one for both the duel heads and the larger print area but am not sure I can justify the cost at this point. I think it also has the laser for it too doesn't it? If yo use that let me know what you think of that too.

The H2S only comes with one printhead. I debated back and forth about getting the H2D that has the dual printhead, but I just don't think I'll use it very much and have some reservations about duplicating the number of fail points at the printhead.

There is a laser option, but I don't think I'll use that very much. If I ever do decide that I would really like to get into laser, I'd probably get a separate machine so it doesn't gum up any of the stuff inside my 3D printer.

The H2S arrives this evening. Kind of nervous and excited.
