how to make quail lay more eggs?

i am getting 5 quail eggs and have 9 hens 1 rooster (so not overmating)

The year ones are going to slow down. They're already middle aged. One of my year olds lays 2x a week if I'm lucky, as opposed to like 5 or 6 a week last year

5 are 8 weeks and 4 are1 year

The 5 that are only 8 weeks are probably just starting to lay, so you may only get one egg every few days, and some may not be laying at all yet. The general range of laying is to start at 8-10 weeks, some take even longer though.
