How to move a playhouse

Quote:
This is how my husband and I moved a shed to turn it into a tree house for my daughter. We used telephone poles cause he's a lineman and they are free. And then used a pulley and hoisted it onto the grape arbor walah!!!! Tree.....errrrr Arbor house. The shed was 8 x 8 and there were just the 2 of us.

my finance and his buddy moved sheds for a long while, all they did was jack the shed up put it on blocks and back their trailer up under it, it was pretty simple took some time but not too long.

Here is how we moved ours! Then loaded it onto a flat bed. We had a friend do it for us.

Congrats with your new find!

Few more questions in general. towing company for quotes. Regular wrecker services? Or house moving companies?
Naturally, I am intrigued by the DIY spirit too. Makes the impossible look possible. But how does one unload from a good size flat bed. I see chickengal got hers loaded. But what happens when you have to move it away from all that convenient loading equipment?
I understand you could roll it (pipes or posts) to its new home, but how do you get off that trailer? Same jack principle?

Yep same camper jacks we just jacked it up again after we put the flatbed where we wanted it and pulled the flatbed out. Then lowered it Down onto a couple of normal size jacks and finish lowering it with those.

I sent you a PM... We just did this with a 8 x 4 playhouse. Jacked it up, put some skids under it, and we can tow it around with a tractor. Used a wench to get it up on the flatbed, just my husband and his brother got it all moved and now we have a mobile Playhouse/coop all set up!!!

So easy and only costs the price of the wood. We borrowed a trailer from a friend. Once you add some ridiculous price to the price you are paying (if you're buying it) it would be much cheaper to buy a kit and build one at your location.

There are a few pictures of it being pulled by our garden tractor in the following thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=387166
