How to pack eggs for shipping?

The best eggs I've gotten were individually wrapped in bubble wrap surrounded by packing peanuts or shredded paper and then had bubble wrap holding that in. I also received a box that had that soft egg foam on the insides of the box. Neither of the boxes had any broken eggs or detached air cells.

I think if you get one of those flat rate envelopes, you could squeeze in more eggs, since the envelope will FLEX to be the shape of the eggs your putting in there, just be sure to have them so they dont rattle around in there. Dont forget to mark FRAGILE on BOTH sides of the envelope, that usually gets the post offices attention, and they will take special care of your package.

What are Olive Eggers, sounds like an EXOTIC style of EE.

I had a shipment that was wonderful...alot of paper as stuffing, and each egg in bubble wrap, the other shipment the eggs sat in an open carton, each egg bubbled wrapped and then more ontop wth then paper to fill the box...these eggs were wonderful.

HOW NOT TO DO IT: almost empty box, eggs lose and only wrapped in 1/2 of a paper towel and SHIPPED...this is what you will get, which I did yesterday for my bday, and he wont refund anything. Ebay bought. I have a post in here already with more pictures, and he was real nasty when I contacted him.

I did get only 4 good eggs out of a dozen

I have Araucanas (they lay a dark green egg already) , and i have Ameracanas, and 2 EE'S

So, yes a fancy EE they are. ..or a mutt that lays olive eggs to be exact..
