how to pair pigeon?

First 6 mth old ♀ may or may NOT be ready to mate. Plus the old ♂ maybe still awaiting the return of it's mate and may need extra time to pair up. You may need to exercise tolerance and patience on this union.
I know ahe isn't ready, a friend taught me how to tell if a female is ready from the feathers of her wings, she still needs about a month, but i'm asking from now to see the best way to approach this, and for the older male, he is already searching for a new mate anyways, he keeps chasing other females and he is always sitting in the nest box making those noises to convince a female into breeding with him and laying in that nest box.
They are nun pigeons and the female is his daughter, i managed to get two chicks before the cat killed my female and now i'll pair the young daughter to her dad, i think it'll all go well hopefully, i just wanted to make sure the way i pair them is correct.

Depends what your breeding for. The healthiest pigeons will naturally mate breeding together leaving weakest. This works good for homers of all same caliber, and rollers of all same family line and past proven good pheno and Geno type, and show birds of same quality. Just depends what you want out of your birds vs what they carry and show, and their families showed and carried. If show birds, look up standards, take note and measurements then breed towards standard (if it's what you want), or breed for what qualities you enjoy or/and want to keep and enhance.

Good luck and keep us posted.
