How to price a young Tom

Yeah, wish me luck. One normal CSA basket from these folks comes in a bushel basket, and costs $60. Maybe they'll do me a more modest version? Or, if I could find out what they're harvesting right now, maybe I could just get a bushel of green beans or potatoes, or something.

Whats a CSA Box ?

CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture," and it usually means that either a farmer or a group of farmers contracts with buyers ahead of time to provide a weekly or monthly "box" or "basket" (ours comes in a bushel basket, once a month)... sometimes all year 'round, sometimes for the main growing season. It's a great way to get healthy, delicious food and also support your small local farmers in the process. Try www.localharvest.org to find CSA providers near you.

Well I am selling mine for 10.00 each . Bronze about size of a chicken males and females.

Heck wish I could get 45.00 for my breeding age turkeys.

Wow.. too cheap... I paid 8.50 ea for babies from hatchery..

After the 3 months of feed bill you will have quite an investment in them..

Any nice eating size turkey is worth $30 bucks,, at least $25...

If I didn't or couldn't sell them for that,,, My freezer would be full of frozen turkey.. I sure wouldn't give them away...
