How to prop up heating pad

Howdy. I got a heating pad to do the mamas heating pad method. But, I am struggling to find out how to prop it up securely to make a cave.. I do not have any wiring I can use. Any tips?

Do you have a cooling rack in your kitchen? Wire coat hangers? A cardboard box?

I have wire coat hangers... that may just work. Not sure if it would support a pad though.
