wow that's a great idea. just read all about it. the only problem i have is that i have been hands off with my roos so catching them and getting a sock around their necks is going to be a huge challenge. i'm going to monitor this to see how things go for them. i have recently enclosed my coop to that i can put them all up at night. i don't let them out until around 730 on the weekdays and 9 on the weekends. both my roos are crowing up a storm. my neighbors are okay with it for now but i'm so sensitive to the noise i don't want to upset the apple cart.
some of them are just MEAN. I just got rehomed a RIR. He was vicious and made their living conditions not nice. Bye bye. I am enjoying not having to defend myself when around caring for my chickens and letting them free range in my 1/3 acre fenced yard.
