also wait a sec, you mention out of the blue that the thread is from 8 years ago.... but... youre here too... ??!!?? what makes you better than me for mentioning that its an old thread? i had a couple extra seconds, so i posted my thoughts on the subject of the thread for anyone to see who happened upon it. so why dont you go shave your neck beard, clean up the mustard stains from your 20 year old wife beater, and go get a job so you can move out of your moms basement. or, at least find something better to do than put people down just to make you feel better about your terrible life. god, seriously, gfy.

Please stop getting angry. You were also not talking very kind in your first post. If you aren’t going to bother to be nice then why should anyone else be nice to you? The OP was asking for advice not criticism. Just think about it next time.

It's very easy to reply to a thread without noticing how old it is (I've done it myself several times by mistake), but it's kind of pointless.

It is pretty common on this site to point out when someone responds to a thread that's been dead for years. The old threads stay around as a reference, but we usually try not to revive them unless there's a particular reason (like asking the original poster for updates on the original situation-- not useful here, since the original poster hasn't been on the site since 2017.)
