How to rig nipple waterer on Catawba-style (a-frame) chicken tractor?

How dose the system work if nipples are higher than the bucket is it pressureized?

The lowest point of the bucket is about 1-2" lower than the nipple that why I will raise it up about 2"-4". I can test it out with water level few inches higher then the nipple tomorrow.

I thought you had some how rigged all of this to a chicken tractor, that is why I really wanted to see the pictures. I was hoping to get some ideas of what I could do for mine. This is the type of structure that the original poster and I have.

I have a few ideas on how to get a nipple water system hooked up, I think it will just eliminate one of the egg boxes.

update:
I raise up about 4" and test it out with minimum water in the bucket. The water nipple working just fine. The top bucket has 3 small holes to help water flow easier.

If it was me, I would do as bellow. The 5 gal bucket will be use for both feeder and nipple waterer system. The buckets are outside the coop of course.

That would make it harder to move around the yard and hard to get into the egg boxes. I will take a picture of what I have in mind for the waterer, for the feeder I'm fine with putting food in there every few days.

You can place the water bucket anywhere outside near the coop. To light the load for easy moving, just disconnect the water hose.

As for the feeder, have you consider building the feeder box underneath the nest box? The moveable nest box also can be use to access for refill feed.

I use a PVC feeder and a PVC nipple waterer in my Ctabala A-fram Ark coop. I cut a small hole in the wire and tied it to the post in the center of the ark. It works great there.

My PVC water is a 1" cap with the nipple in it attached to a pipe about 4" long. Attached to that is an adapter that expands it from 1" to 4". I can then just set a 2 litter bottle in the top.

IF I think about it I'll post a pic later.

So you fill up a 2l bottle and set it upside down in the 4" expander? How many chickens do you have and how often do you have to refill?

I would like to see pictures, what I was thinking of doing in mine was using one of the egg boxes to hold a bottle or water jug of some kind and then feed down into the run with the nipple. Typically these types of coops are designed for no more than 5 chickens. I have three in mine and I change the waterer out 1 or 2 times a day, mostly because it gets dirty or I am worried it is getting too warm. I have started to put a large chunk of ice in the current waterer I have. Right now I'm just using a standard type waterer but want to switch to the nipple system.
