how to sex Tennessee reds

i have a Tennessee red quail and i want to know what sex it is. it doesn't have a black head or white on it it's all reddish brown color

Tennesee Reds?! Run for the hills!

I had no idea what I was getting into when I hatched a few of them, as they are an agressive breed of Bobs. But I love them no different than any of the others I have.

The males have the darker mask and the females have the buff colored face.

I dont know why everyone thinks TN Reds are aggressive? Mine aren't..

TN Red male will have a black throat, while hens have a white throat.

You Cant Sex Tn Reds By Throat Colors In Most Cases NOR DO THEY GENERALLY HAVE THE FACIAL MARKING OTHER BOBS HAVE. THEY ARE NOT A COLOR SEXABLE BIRD.

I used to have a pair of them and they didn't have any markings that I could sex them by. I ended up separating the four of them and whichever one layed an egg was a hen.
