How to sprout for chickens

I'm doing the same thing with some of the seeds I will use to plant the alternating pasture for them once the snow goes away.

I know they will love having fresh greens and the stuff is blended for poultry to give the extra Omega-3s, so it should be good for their eggs, too. I do have to wonder why I didn't think of that before...

My second batch of sprouts was more than they could eat at once. Got a picture of Mr. Big eating the leftovers once the girls had their fill the first time around. They made sure to polish off every bit on the way back to the coop.
