how to stop an attacking roaster

I Had a BCM rooster, who was really huge, and he at first started stalking me when my back was turned.....he would run up behind me and peck my jeans. Well, this escalated into full blown frontal attacks! I wacked him with anything I had handy--food dishes, a shovel once.......it became really nerve wracking. He never gave up! I had to keep a rolled up magazine in my pocket at all times, and I would wack him in the head with it when he attacked. Finally I just got sick of it and sold him.

THAT'LL LEARN HIM!
