How to "summon" people?

First off, is this the right category for this type of question? Next is who do i summon people onto my thread? I know how to get their names on here but not the "@"
Look....@Hybridchucks see......the "@" is black and the name is blue......HELP ME!!! please

Not sure but maybe the difference is the space? @Hybridchucks vs ...@hybridchucks the first one brings up a list of names as I start typing the second does not.

It seems I can't make the name turn blue without making the @ turn blue too.

When you click on edit and the editor pops up are there any tags ( opening and closing user tags)

Type @ then start typing the name.
For example @Hybridchucks You should get a list. Choose the one you want and you're set!
