Hi. I am planning to order duck eggs from metzer farms. I have seen tons of stories but none of them really tell me what to do. Can somone tell me if they have had shipped duck eggs before, and how they took care of them and if they were successful. Thank you for your time.

I just received a shipment from metzer. The biggest risk in shipped duck eggs are loose or detached air cells. Of the 13 eggs I received, three were detached and 6 were loose. In my experience for loose air cells you let the eggs sit for 24 hours and put them in the incubator pointy side down. Candle them at 7 days and see if the egg survived.
