How to tame a goat?

We brought home a new goat yesterday and she is very shy. She is used to me now but my brothers, parents, etc can't walk up and pet her unless I'm next to her. Any advice?

Give her some time. It is going to take a while for her to adjust to her new surroundings.

We've have the boys since they were 5 months and 8 months and our friend and her grand babies loved on them since they were born so no reason to be scared of people but they still act crazy and wild except when there is food or bread haha. So if it's time to clip their nails or we just want to pet them we give them bread but it took a few days before Kesto trusted me enough to come up and stand on my leg to get it. Quinn was abused for her first 3 years before our friend got her and she still doesn't understand she isn't going to get hurt if she is pet but she is great with hand feeding.
