How to Tell a Coturnix Quail's Age?

Is there a way to figure it out?

I got five females that I bought last week from a swap meet and was hoping they'd lay some eggs soon.

It's hard to tell once they're over six weeks old, but before then it's easy to tell. Pictures?

It usually takes a couple of weeks for them to settle into their new home and start to lay.

They are over six weeks old, so they are old enough to be laying. The conditions they need are at least 14 hours of light/day and lack of stress. They should also have either a layer feed with 3.5% or so calcium or calcium on the side. Oyster shells or crushed egg shells do nicely for that.
