Hi, Annette, welcome to BYC. Shortly the combs and wattles on the cockerels will start to redden and enlarge. Also the saddle and hackle feathers will come in shiny and pointy, and oh yes, the little buggers will start to crow.

I take it you are having problems putting up photos yes .....


First you need to have them in your computer .....

Look up at the top of the reply page and you will see different little box's ...

Look for the one with the happy face ...

To the left of that you will see a little box with mountains and a sun or moon if you like ...

Tap on the box and you will be in the add photo's ...

At the top upper left hand corner you will see add from computer ...

Then you can add all the photos you need from your computer ...

If you have questions just ask .....

Yay! You did it! I'm new to chickens in general and to BYC! Here are my chicks. I have no idea if I have pullets or cockerels!

Hi BlueChicks62 may be when they get older. I am new to this too but now I have 10 big girls that have just started to lay so I get 10 eggs a day and the 6 babies that are 7 weeks old and very friendly. I love it. My German Shepherd isn't sure what to make of it.
