How to tell if an egg is fertilized?

As our chickens are getting older (8-10 weeks) we believe we have one rooster. With that, how will we be able to tell if an egg is fertilized or not? I'd rather not crack an egg open to fry, only to find a baby chicken developing...Thanks!

As you can see, once you crack a fertile egg open into the pan to cook or whatever, it's not much different from one that hasn't been fertilized. They don't taste any different either.
