so my duck eggs are on lockdown because the air cell drew down the shell. Then I believe all but one had pipped internally. This is my first time and I am just worried that the are not positioned in the shell correctly. There is a shadow on the bottom of the air cell and you can see lots of movement which I believe is the beak. In all the videos I have watched the beak in the air cell is very obvious and it is in the center of the air pocket. Does anyone have any advice for me to tell they are fine?

This is how they are laying in the incubator too.. I know I’m not supposed to open it but it’s been 2 days now and there is lots of movement the eggs keep moving around but I’m just worried they are not pipped right since it’s on the bottom part of the air cell

Welcome!!! I do not know about hatching duck eggs, but there are tons here who can help. Good luck, keep us posted!!! I will keep watching this thread to see what happens even tho I do not know how to hatch ducks. Good luck!!!!

Stop touching the eggs..Lockdown means locked down..Humidity raised and wait for an external pip...Ducks take around two days from internal pip to Zip...

Yes, I know I am not supposed to touch them. I am asking because it has been 2 days already and I was worried they are not pipped on the right part of the shell? Does that look right to you or are they supposed to pip up in the middle of the air cell?

Awesome thank you! I was so worried in all the pictures it looks like they pip up towards the top of the egg

It will. What you are seeing in the shadowy area is the back of its neck. Its spine is laying on the floor, legs curled up to chest, head tucked down, then the bill is twisted around toward the shell.

I'm in the same boat with you. Took this last night.
