How to tell the age of silkie rooster?

We just recently got a silkie rooster, all the guy told us is he is last year baby so we were wondering if he’s still not fully grown yet and what’s approximate age of his judging from his features.

I mean he looks fairly feathered in, decent sized comb, so he's not a super young boy... Can you get a photo of him from the side to see his tail? That's kinda the only other male feathering that comes in 'later' in their development that might hint to age?
