how to tell the difference between male and female in fantail pigeons

i got six fantailed pigeons and i do not know male from female do any of yall have any method for telling

Are they fully grown?
If so you can feel the bones that meet near the vent, sort of like pelvic bones
a wide separation (for egg laying) +female
narrow or no separation + male

I had one guy come over with a string with a bob "if it swings around its a girl, back and fourth,,boy" But I think it a bunch of hoo haa.
If he's right, one of my pigeons is gay.

I agree. And for the pendulum test thing, I think it's a bunch of crap too

However, it did work on two of my Satinettes so far. The other that is supposed to be a hen, well, she hasn't acted like a boy...but she hasn't mated up yet either. I guess time will tell. Pigeons aren't the only animals they've tried that on either. Supposed to work with pregnant women too

If I was and someone hovered a string over my stomach, I'd think they were crazy, LOL.
