How to tell the difference between Welsummer and Brown Leghorn

Is there a way to tell the difference between a leghorn and a welsummer?

Welsummers have red earlobes, leghorns have white.

My Brown Leghorn got their white earlobes at around 10 weeks old. Welsummers will be a more red color when feathering out. I just went through the same thing, but at 10 weeks you could definately tell. The brown leghorns are a goldish brown and welsummers are reddish brown.

I agree with everyone else in here! Good job folks! You make me proud! What peeps is saying about the golden brown and reddish brown is the breast feathers. Sometimes they can be of dark salmon color too!

And the color of eggs would tell too!

Hi. Can someone please let me know how to tell the difference between the Welsummer and the Penedesenca pullet. I bought two pullets that were suppose to be Penedesencas but now that they are getting older they are starting to look more like a Welsummer.

The leg color of welsummers will be yellow, and these are not
