How to tell the stage of incubation

We've moved her, careful to avoid moving the eggs. Jostling avoided as best as we can so here's hoping we haven't messed this up for sweet little marshmallow ❤️

Let her do her job. From the first post I'd have tossed egg #3. If it was even fertile it was too far behind and anything extra to break under her is a hazard. She'll stay on the nest for a few days once they start hatching. Once she's off the nest with what hatched I'd just let them be. Remove the debris the day after. They will move to another area in coop and she'll start to bring them outside for feed. You can provide food and water in the coop for them but it usually gets filled with liter and those new mothers can get ornery. Wear garden gloves until she settles down.

@Tretinker did the eggs hatch?
One 1 hatched. All the others had fully formed chicks that just didn't make in the last few days it seemed.

It was definitely a learning experience. The one chick is best buddies with her mum and it is the sweetest thing to watch, she's is fearless!

The three that didn't make it seemed to stop at the same growth stage from what we could tell.

Maybe it was our interference or something else but I think next time we be better prepared.
