How can I tell when my silkies are feathered out and quit using a heat lamp at night. I have 5 silkies. When I bought them 2 were much bigger than 3 of them. I think they were older. They should be about 8 weeks old at least. They have been with my lavender orps that are feathered out well. I moved the lav. orps out to a bigger pen today. I am just not sure of the silkies. I ram gonna have to move them out from where they are next week for my bantam and her chicks when they hatch next week.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. If it will help I will post pictures tomorrow. Maybe you can help on guessing sex too?
