How to tell?

I have 11 silkies that are 8 weeks old what should I be looking for to tell if they are hens or roos

Eight weeks is still too young to distinguish Silkie chicks by gender, I'm afraid. You can usually sex Silkies by 3 to 4 months of age and best by 16 weeks, when the males will finally have enough of a comb emerged beneath their feathers.
