How to tempt chicks to eat yogurt?

Add some of their favorite fruit pieces to it. My hens love blueberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes...cut up of course.

Once mine got used to the color and texture, they eat it without fruit. They get it all over their beaks and start flicking it around and sometimes try to wipe it off their faces

My hens ate some plain yogurt this morning!

i had the same problem....my picky chicks wont touch it..i just gave up but mixing things in sounds like a wonderful idea

I had some yoghurt that was out by a couple of days... put it in their bowl, mixed up with their normal morning scraps... bowl was scraped clean when I came home that night

yes. my babies do have a specific 'treat' bowl. no. its not weird.

I mix some of their chick crumbles in with it...the tiniest crumbs. Gets them to eat both at the same time.
